About Crosshair Overlay
Crosshair Overlay puts a clean, fully customizable aiming crosshair on top of your favorite PC games, so you always have a crisp, consistent point of aim, even in games where the default crosshair is weak, cluttered, or missing entirely.
The safe-by-design approach
Crosshair Overlay runs as an Xbox Game Bar widget, so it draws your crosshair on screen the safe, Windows-native way. It does not inject code into games, and it does not read or modify game memory. It simply draws an image on your screen, the same way overlays such as Discord or the built-in Xbox overlay do. We deliberately chose this approach to stay on the legitimate, Microsoft-supported side of things.
How it comes together
The app installs as one package with two parts: the editor, where you design and manage everything, and the Game Bar widget, which displays your chosen crosshair in-game. You design your crosshair in the editor, pin the widget from Game Bar, and play. Switch between saved designs or flash custom meme images on the fly with hotkeys, all without ever touching the game itself.
Early access, this is just the beginning
Crosshair Overlay is in its early stages. This is Phase One, and we're actively building on it. Expect more shapes, more effects, deeper customization, and quality-of-life improvements in future updates. Your feedback genuinely shapes where it goes next. So if something's missing or you have an idea, let us know. Thanks for being here early.
