Found something broken in Crosshair Overlay? Most issues come down to a couple of Game Bar settings. Check the common fixes first, then send us the details if you are still stuck.

Common fixes

Open Xbox Game Bar with Win + G and pin the Crosshair Overlay widget. The overlay only shows once the widget is pinned. Also run your game in Borderless or Windowed mode, because exclusive Fullscreen hides most overlays.
Turn on click-through. In Game Bar, click the mouse icon on the home bar so your clicks pass straight through the overlay to the game.
Set your hotkeys in the editor first, and make sure the widget is pinned. If a key does nothing, your game may already use it, so pick a different key.
Re-pin the widget from Game Bar with Win + G. If it still misbehaves, restart Game Bar or your PC. A Windows or game update can occasionally unpin widgets.
Crosshair Overlay runs on Xbox Game Bar and only draws on screen, but anti-cheat rules differ by game and can change at any time. Use it at your own risk and follow each game's terms. See our Privacy and Terms for the full note.
