The short version

Crosshair Overlay runs on your own PC. Your settings, your crosshair designs, and any images you import stay on your device. We do not collect them. This website is a simple static site that asks for no account and no personal information. We use the app entirely at your own risk for fair play, since anti-cheat rules differ by game.

Privacy Policy

The app

Crosshair Overlay is a Windows app that runs locally through Xbox Game Bar. Your settings, saved crosshairs, palettes, and any images or meme overlays you import are kept on your own device. The app does not send your designs or images to us, and it does not read or modify other programs or game memory.

You buy the app through the Microsoft Store. Microsoft handles the purchase and your payment details under its own privacy terms. We never receive or store your payment information.

The website

crosshairoverlay.app is a static website hosted on GitHub Pages. We do not run accounts, logins, or forms that collect personal data on this site. A few normal things still apply:

• Server logs. Our host may record standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. This helps keep the site secure and reliable.
• Analytics. We may use a website analytics tool such as Google Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymized traffic, for example page views, device type, and a rough region. This helps us improve the site. It does not identify you personally.
• The demo video. Our YouTube demo does not load until you click it. Once you click play, YouTube (Google) may set cookies under its own policy. We use the privacy-enhanced player to limit this.

Third-party services

We rely on a few outside services, and their use of data is governed by their own policies: GitHub (website hosting), Google and YouTube (the demo video and analytics), and Microsoft (the Microsoft Store and payments). We encourage you to read their privacy policies for details.

Children

Crosshair Overlay and this website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

You can block or clear cookies in your browser, avoid the demo video by not clicking it, and manage or remove the app's local data on your own device at any time.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the most recent version.

Terms of Use

Acceptance

By installing or using Crosshair Overlay, or by using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app or the website.

Your license

Crosshair Overlay is licensed to you, not sold. Your use of the app is also subject to the Microsoft Store Terms of Sale and the Microsoft Standard Application License Terms.

Fair play and anti-cheat

Crosshair Overlay runs on Microsoft's Xbox Game Bar and only draws an image on your screen, the same way overlays such as Discord do. It does not inject code into games and does not read or modify game memory.

Anti-cheat systems are controlled by each game's publisher, differ from game to game, and can change at any time, and some games prohibit any third-party on-screen overlay in their terms of service. We make no guarantee that Crosshair Overlay is permitted by, or will not be flagged by, any particular game or its anti-cheat system. You use the app entirely at your own risk and are responsible for following the rules and terms of service of every game you play. Lucky Panda is not responsible or liable for any warning, suspension, ban, match penalty, or other consequence that may result from using the app. If you are unsure whether a game permits overlays, do not use the app with that game.

Your content

You are solely responsible for any image, meme, or other content you import or display with the app. Do not use content that is illegal, infringing, or that you do not have the right to use.

Intellectual property

The Crosshair Overlay app, the Crosshair Overlay name, this website, and its content belong to Lucky Panda. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute them without our written permission.

No warranty

The app and the website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every game or system.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Lucky Panda is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app or the website.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The app is not sold through this website. All purchases happen on the Microsoft Store under Microsoft's own terms.
